Frequently asked questions
Clear answers about using InfinityCards on the web and in the Android app.
Getting started
What is InfinityCards?
InfinityCards helps you discover, scan and organize Pokémon cards. You can manage a collection, wishlists, binders and decks from the website and Android app.
Do I need an account?
You can browse public content without an account. An account is required to save cards, create lists, scan cards and use social or vendor features.
Which cards are supported?
The card database focuses on English and Japanese Pokémon cards. Accessories can also be searched and organized separately.
Scanning
How does card scanning work?
Point the camera at the card and keep it inside the guide. The app takes a temporary image, reads identifying text and compares the result with the InfinityCards database. You always confirm the match before adding it.
Is a scan always correct?
No recognition system is perfect. Lighting, focus, sleeves and unusual card layouts can affect the result. Check the name, set and card number before confirming.
Is the scan photo stored?
The camera image is used temporarily for recognition and is not kept as a card photo in your account. Technical OCR information can be logged for security, diagnostics and improving reliability.
How do scan credits work?
Each completed recognition uses a scan credit. Your available balance and the allowances belonging to your plan are shown in your profile and on the scanner screen.
Collection, binders and decks
What is the difference between my collection and a binder?
Your collection contains the cards you own. A binder organizes collection cards and wishlist positions into pockets without creating a second physical copy.
Can I create a binder automatically?
Yes. The binder wizard can prepare a binder by set, Pokémon, illustrator or rarity and by English, Japanese or both languages. Missing cards can be added as wishlist positions.
Can the same physical card be placed in multiple binders?
InfinityCards checks whether a collection item is already assigned. You can choose to move it, while wishlist positions remain separate from owned cards.
Does the deck builder check deck rules?
The deck builder shows card distribution and warnings for deck size, duplicate limits, language and missing evolution links. You may still keep an invalid deck while editing it.
Prices and vendors
Where do price indications come from?
InfinityCards can show Cardmarket market data and prices from active InfinityCards vendor listings. Availability and coverage differ per card.
Are displayed prices guaranteed?
No. Prices are indications or vendor asking prices. Condition, language, grading, demand and the final transaction can change the actual value.
What can a vendor account do?
Vendors can manage inventory, team members, public profile information, price tags and sales events. Live events can publish available cards through the same vendor QR code.
Can vendor inventory be exported?
Supported vendor lists and events can be exported for compatible workflows such as Whatnot. InfinityCards validates required export fields and reports incomplete records before export.
Account and subscription
How can I sign in?
You can use email and password, a magic link or Google sign-in when it is available for the current environment.
Where do I manage my subscription?
Your current plan, validity and management options are shown in your profile. Website subscriptions are handled through the connected payment provider.
What happens when a subscription ends?
Premium-only limits are reduced immediately. Lists above the active plan limit can become frozen, and the account offers renewal and export options according to the applicable retention period.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Account deletion is available under Profile and Security. Information that must legally be retained, such as certain financial records, is handled separately from your active account data.
Privacy and support
Who owns my collection data?
You retain control over your collection information. InfinityCards uses it to provide the requested features and does not claim ownership of your cards.
Can I export or clear my data?
Profile and security settings provide the available export, collection-clearing and account-deletion options. Some operations require confirmation and cannot be undone.
How do I report a bug?
Use the support form and describe the page, action and error message. Screenshots are helpful, but never include passwords, recovery codes or payment details.
